Golf handicapping is a complex business, but we make it easy for EWGA Palm Springs/Desert Cities members. You need 20 18-hole attested scorecards to obtain an official handicap. So, start playing and keeping your scorecards today! You can obtain an “unofficial” handicap with 10 scorecards.

If you are establishing a handicap for the first time, there are two services offered through the Palm Springs/Desert Cities Chapter:

EWGA's Golf Life Management System - (Free)
GHIN - through Women's Southern California Golf Association (WSCGA) - ($35/year)

Option 1: EWGA’s Golf Life Management System (GLMS)
Now’s the time to take advantage of this free handicapping system for EWGA members. It’s part of your association dues. You access it through the Members Only area of www.ewga.com. Every member who is playing well enough to keep score is encouraged to obtain a Handicap Index through the EWGA GLMS.

It also gives members the ability to:

Post scores
Access 20,000+ golf course profiles
Track personal game statistics
Print a handicap card
View scoring history
Attest scores for other members; and more
