Golf handicapping is a complex business, but we make it easy for EWGA Palm Springs/Desert Cities members. You need 20 18-hole attested scorecards to obtain an official handicap. So, start playing and keeping your scorecards today! You can obtain an “unofficial” handicap with 10 scorecards.

You have two ways to get a handicap:
EWGA’s Golf Life Management System. (Free)
Women’s Southern California Golf Assoc. ($20/year)
EWGA’s GLMS System
Now’s the time to take advantage of this free handicapping system for EWGA members. It’s part of your association dues. You access it through the Members Only area of www.ewga.com.
The system is Web-based, and has several features. You can: post scores; track game statistics; print your handicap card; view scoring; attest scores for other members; and more. Members with a GLMS index enter scores on home computers, through the Web.
To get started, you’ll need to activate your own personal GLMS account. For the instructions, visit this Web page: http://www.ewga.com/5-Golf_Education/glms/activate.htm.

W-SCGA Handicap
The Chapter offers members the ability to get handicap indexes through the Women's Southern California Golf Association (WSCGA).
Members who obtain a WSCGA handicap will be able to enter their scores at golf courses immediately after play. Also, Chapter members with existing WSCGA memberships can transfer them to the Chapter.
The annual fee for a WSCGA handicap (good April 1 through March 31) will be $20, payable to EWGA, Palm Springs/Desert Cities Chapter.
